Idle Rpm's


Well i did all the plugs and wires and my rpm's are lower than usual any ideas?

Did you gap them correctly?

no all the plug boots are in good but about gapping them i checked the old ones and the new ones they were different gaps how do you adjust the gaps? Sorry if i sound like an idiot dont know about this

with a spark plug gapper.
they cost around a dollar and you can get them at any parts store.

the gap should be set at .052- .054

its not acting funny like jumping around or anything its just a little lower than usual sometimes when i start it

that's normal.. maybe your other plugs were not gapped correctly.

well they were coroded pretty bad it was time to change them i was the first person to changed them in 92k miles lol

mine idles at 1000 on my tach, but when i was on the dyno, it was at 732. That is why this bad boy is going in!
