code P0171
My car has been quiting randomly. It has occurred while stopping with clutch depressed and while going 55 mph down the highway. Finally, it threw a CEL and this is the code: P0171 System Adaptive Fuel too lean. (BANK 1). I replaced my IAC with a new one this summer. I have a 1997 GT. The Haynes manual really does not give any direction to go on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Haha amazing, my air filter has fallen off. No telling wtf else sucked up into my motor. Ah well.........just my luck. Thanks

Well even though some crud has been sucked into your engine, at least it wasn't something such as your Mass Air Flow which is like 300 bucks to replace if its shot. Most of the time, a good cleaning will fix em, but if the little cord that sits in side there is shot, its time for a replacement
