Clutch (Pedal Play and Adjustment)


My clutch pedal has a lot more play than before, i tried to adjust it but its not tightening up, how exactly do i adjust the pedal. And why isnt it tightening.

Push the pedal to the floor, pull back on the pedal all the way by hand, repeat. It's self adjusting.

the manual says to pull up on the clutch then push down until you hear a click.

That is the correct procedure. If you arent getting any adjustment then its possible that either the cable is stretched or the quadrant is beat.

i have the same problem....ive adjusted it many times and it always works but now it seems like idk..i feel like i pulled it back to far and now its stretched out..?? anyone?

yea me to i mean to dont yank it...put i def. but tension on it ...ive seen my dad do it few times but he said u only have to do it once in a while...idk its weird..its definitly not right tho...somesthings wrong

i feel like mine is just say to high...and it defeinitly doesnt grab like it did b4 i messed with it..theres no way it needs a new cluth we just put one in and i baby the car for the most part and i kno how to drive i dont even give it gas to get going even on a hill
