MIL Eliminators
Hi,
I have an 07 4.6 GT auto and have just fitted aftermarket back boxes, the mil light comes on after around 5 miles and to reset I have to disconnect the battery. My question is can you buy mil eliminators that work on this model yet as I'm told they don't work with the ecu? Also can you buy a de-cat front "X" pipe that fit's the auto model and are they worth fitting? Thanks Alan. |

Hey, i would get it checked out. Have the codes scanned to see what it means. because replacing the muffler back on a s197 wouldnt set off a code. Im not totally sure on this, but a moderator would be better off to put it in the s197 section because it shouldnt be here. Anywhoo...i would get a programmer and shut off the MIL for the cats if you plan on a cattless midpipe. Hope it helps.
