Radio Bezel

someone had told me that the radio bezel from a 01 will fit our year.. its that true? will it take some fitment?

It should fit, but you wont have buttons down at the bottom. 02 is when they started putting in the 1 piece head unit, instead of the two(1 radio, and 1 CD player)

ya it was a pretty stupid idea, cuz if you want to put in a a/m radio you have this open hole there now. so i was thinking about just getting the newer model bezel and putting a screen in it

i use the cassette part! BTW I have a working radio cassette part that if you need ill sell to you very cheap! The CD player works, but the buttons are missing or broken.

lol 1996! I put in a new one because it came with the CD player i bought, and it had a clock feature, so the clock pod can go away. With the tach going in, the clock couldnt even be seen.

its still a downgrade either way u look at it.......

i don't even use my cd player, i use a flash drive that plugs into a usb port

how is it a downgrade? Its the Mach 460 head unit. They came with both Cassette and raido in one, and the one below it came witha CD player. And some ppl dont spend money on systems, when performance is where its at! lol

cassettes have been outdated since the 90's dude, thats how. And if u knew how much i spent on my stereo, compared to people like zip who have spent 5 times as much, and only have about 2x's the power, u wouldnt be saying that. Besides, I had the system before I bought the stang.

I'm not knockin his setup either, it's friggin sweet, but the amount of money for the results he got weren't worth it. I spent less the a G on my shit, woulda spent closer to 1500 but i knew seller.

and yeah, there is general roll up value when ur car makes decent power and sounds badass. But it makes it all that much better when u can do it with ur own soundtrack.

Im just saying, that the Mach 460 has plenty of mid and upper tones for me, as well as a nice deep low tone. I guess im just not picky when it comes to systems. And well, i still use my cassette player to use my ipod.

If I'm ever in Coloroda i'll swing by and let u drive my car with some beats. Its completely a dif tone of bass then the 460.......

the 460 is also a misleading system.......its 460 total watts out of 8 speakers. I'm pushing 1400 coniuous watts through 6 speakers.

if u really wanna get into it, the 460 only makes about 230 rms watts....which is crap when it comes to sound.

and the 460 is outdated.......most stock stereo's come equiially equipped now

And i dont care about my system. It sounds perfectly fine to me.
