Ported Heads Custom Cams, and longtube headers and a dyno tune and you should be damn close.

The PI swap is the cheapest mod to make more power. Period. The only better thing for power for your money is nitrous. and that is not a consistent power adder. If you want to make any more than about 20 hp more than stock. You better be willing to spend some cash. Pay to play my friend, if it was that cheap every mustang you saw would be able to wheel stand.

P.I. should be your first option, you're going from 215-260hp! just look around my bro.found some P.I heads for $190 bucks-he already had a P.I intake on his '97

I say you can get them used for around 300 bucks for the heads. And if you are going to go ported and polished at all, the heads will be getting a valve job and completely worked over. The intake can be bought for 150 bucks or so, cams can be bought for around 100 bucks, or if you go custom it would be around 600+ valve springs (300 bucks). Then the gasket kit for 120 bucks. For fully ported and polished and custom cams you would only be spending 500-700 bucks more than that kit. I would buy the heads used for sure.

And there is no other way to get 300rwhp from a npi motor. Big heads and cams. With youre choice of intake will. But its gonna be a squeeze. Alot of people have high hopes from a Npi 4.6 and its just not there.

With PI heads, Longtube headers, and A set of aftermarket cams 300 is achievable, but with worked heads 320 isnt out of range. After studing these heads, small things can be done to them to help the power increases.
