I have a 98mustang g.t., i was thinking of either doing the whole full pi swap with my engine or selling my car and putting up some money to buy a 98 cobra for about 12000. it has 88 thousand miles on it, black paint with black convertible. what would be my best investment as far as time and money????? whats gonna be the less hassle???????????????

well if you plan on spending 12k on one I would think should invest in the pi swap instead and save yourself money.
if you can find a Cobra for around 9-10 grand I would go that rout

well the cobra that im lookin at has a lot of extras for example, magnaflow exhaust, chrome rims, dvd stereo, two 12s speakers, so thats the reason why they are asking that price
i do agree that its only worth that much, its the extras that they added

not at all.
mods make the car loose value if anything.
they are asking too much for it man.

you can get an 01 Cobra for that much

dont spend more then 9k unless its got a blower... i would vote to pi swap the gt, but if your set on a cobra, to look for a better deal.

its also a convertible isn't.....that boosts the brice by about a 1500

i paid 3500 for mine. might not be the sexiest thing driving down the road... yet... but if you really want cobra look around man they aint that much and 3 grand is what i had into my old stereo. look at my sig. that stuff is the best money can buy. personally now i wish i would have never done it and just had money for mods!

i dont doubt that. 2v are much less expensive to mod and the wake up alot with things like cams....

+ infinity. i did alot of stereo competitions. I.E. nationals in omaha NE for like the last 3 yrs. made one pass down the track in my friends TA that was all it took sold my car and bought the cobra wouldnt change it. ever.

ya that sounds like a sleeper fry. the only reason i bought this car was one price obv. and 2 it says cobra. and 3 my dad had a 66 fastback. i knew i wanted a stang and something no one else had around here. but now i wish i had a gt cause it way easier to mod and i probably wouldnt get messed with by the cops so much if my bumper didnt scream give me a big ticket i'm about to do something you'll like

so does mustang itself....since ive had my car ive gotten pulled over 16 times...and have gotten 3 speeding tickets...$1300 bucks later...no more 6 points and no insurance fees lol got the car a lil over a year ago
