Installing Oil Sending Unit For 96 Mustang GT
I would like to know where I can purchase an oil sending unit, and also where it is located in the car and how to install. Thanks

I would start looking at a new OEM part from ford and go from there. Not sure where it is on a 2002. I know where it is on a 66

oil sending unit
the unit is located next to the oil filter its round and about an inch wide with a plug on it cant miss it, try napa or oreally the carry some oem parts if not just get one from the dealer

oil sending unit
I also forgot to mention that if u start your car on an uneven pavement the sensor will not pick u any signal so that can also be an issue try starting the car on an even surface
