so today my freind wanted to race i said ok he has a new eclipse and he smoked me it wasnt a fair race though

the new eclipse looks like a chicks car my wife has one but its not a gt i think it looks like a barbie car but it does pickup pretty fast all the way through the rpm range for a 4cyl

they have like 222 HP at the crank. so you can start there with the calculations but i say numbers don't always matter. just go for it

lol mine is stock about to do a P.I. swap his is the new one with like 263hp he has intake and it doesnt slow down lol although i agree it looks like a bitch car its fast i was in it when u get up to like 120 it doesnt slow down keeps goin strong but when i mod a little ill take him

if he has a brand new one with the v6 youre gonna loose everytime. Trust me. i ran into a few orange colored ones when they first came out and they ran with me without a problem stock. I wasnt stock, had u/d pulleys, coil packs, wires, pi cams and pi intake, 3.73's and exhaust.

I struggle to call the new eclipses ricers... they have a shakey history, but honestly the new ones are sick and you who have called it "rice" should not be allowed near a car.

whats with the 'u could take him' 'eclipse are rice' attitude!?

he already said he got smoked lol

but i def agree with those eclipse being a chick car, my sister has a 07-spyder-v4 and she tought she was all fast and furious with the need for speed till i got my stang and put her in her place
never came across a gt though but im sure id drop them down a few notches too

when the new eclipes came out I raced one and beat it IN MY TAURUS!!!!! SHO!

then again it was a Taurus with 250hp
