I Need Some Suggestions

Whats up guys, I haven't really posted in a while, but I'm in the process of building up my 97 GT and I need some suggestions as to what else will help me with my goal. I'm looking to get 300 or upwards and be able to transfer that power to the ground and down the track. I currently have, CAI, Manifold, Tranny, Shifter, Gears, Exhaust, Lowered 1.5", soon to be tuned, Plenum, TB. I'm getting ready to install PI heads with Comp 270's in them. What else can you guys think of. Also I got some UPR LCA's. Thanks

Is it the PI manifold? And how about port and polish the PI heads.

It is the PI manifold, and I would Port and polish the heads, but I'm skeptical of anyones porting capabilities down in VA beach and I'd rather not ship out to have it done. Unless any of yall Hampton Roads guys know someone I dont

aluminum driveshaft, electric water pump are a few other things you could do.

hmm, So what would the advantages of an electric water pump be over a belt driven one. I know that the motor wont be driving the pump so it will cut donw on parasitic los, but what else would it do for me?

Oh ok. I forgot about the driveshaft, thats a must. Also would a new lighter flywheel help out that much? I mean I just replaced my clutch and don't really want to pull all that shit back out just to put a new flywheel up in there. Sorry for the rant, but is it really as beneficial as I've heard?

Port and Polish the heads somewhere and with that and the cams you should be at 300+ RWHP i would believe. nitrous would also be awesome with the PI heads. think about that

Yea, but I dont want to have worry about nitrous and all the temps, pressures, blowing up my motor. I'm just not a spray kinda guy although I have considered it. If anyone can point me in the direction of a good shop that ports and polishes in Virginia that would be a great help

You wont blow your motor up with nitrous if you have a good tune.

Sorry didn't mean to say motor, I meant to say intake. I know its hard, but I don't have a place to install it down here, so I'd have to get someone to install it for me and, i'm not liking Steen from the sound of their work.

My best time is 13.8 not shifting to my full potential.

I want to bust the 12's wide open and shut up all my friends with fully built imports......show em how big boys roll on stock motors

i say procharger, y settle for 300 when you can have 400... there is still the one available on corral for 1700, sellers name is erich, and its a good unit. u should really consider it.

lca, and dragradials(nittos for a street car) will definately help, i would also reccommend an aluminum driveshaft and a tubular k member
