Question

2v to 4v Swap


I am doing a 4v swap in my 96 saleen. I am going to use the cobra pcm but i dont know if the cobra pcm harness plugs up to the cluster on the other side of the harness

IDK the answer to your question but you should ask 03GT_hybrid. He has done the 2v to 4v swap and should be able to help you with any problems you have.

an 03 owner wouldnt know anyways. The clusters plugs are the same on a Gt/ Cobra.

thanks for the info i am gonna go get the harness tomorrow.so i wont need to get the cluster harness now

What year cobra motor and PCM is it? And are you talking about the 96 cluster?

yea i got a 97 complete cobra engine,harness and pcm.i got the car started but it dies after 20 seconds and now it will not start so i am guesting it might be the pats.i change the harness the goes to the firewall from the pcm

thanks for the info i am done with my 4v swap.i am going to the state ref to make it emissions legal.if anyone need info on how to do a complete 4v cobra swap 96-98 just pm me
