IAC


will a bad IAC make my 98 GT buck when accelerating? and my car idles not too good, and when I turn my AC off, it wants to die, its only died once

have you tried unplugging it while the car is running? If there is no change in idle then that might be your problem. After doing that you might get a code on your computer just so you know.

I unplugged it while it was running, and it died? is that good or bad?

You also may want to look for a vacum leak. Unmetered air will make a car do really dumb stuff.

yea unplugin it will make it die i discovered this when i checked mine and forgot to plug it back in when i was done and it wouldnt stay running lol

lol yea, I took mine off and cleaned it out real good, and still wouldnt do the trick, the new wires and coil packs fixed it, did you find out what your problem was on your stang?
