engine will not fire help


Well its been about 2 months and my car is still down i still have no spark plug fire and I checked my conpression im sitting at 1= 100, 2= 130, 3=150, 4= 120, 5= 150, 6=180, 7=180, 8=170 will bad conpression cause the car not to fire.??? The car is cranking prety fast compared to before... helppp

if your not getting spark, and id hate to ask this, but did you check all your fuses, check the coils? my friend was having this same problem with his 240SX and one wire was just messed up coming from his distributor and that caused it not to fire, and even after he fixed the spark problem it didnt start, his timing got threw off pretty bad somehow, so after some late nights of messing with the timing by manually turning the crank and and timing chain we almost have it running again, low compression can affect engine start, but so can horrible timing

If those compression numbers are accurate then your motor is toast. Do you have oil in the coolant, or coolant in the oil?
