Exhaust modification

I want to buy side exhasut for my car along with a SVO side skirt, But since I don't have and can't find the side skirt right now I want to just get magnapack catbacks. I was wondering if I get the the catbacks now, would I be able to modify them later to fit the side skirt.

you can probably take them to a muffler shop and have the pipes bent. i would try to look for a Side-Exhaust kit from a company. that's what i wanted to do but i couldn't find anything. maybe someone on here can help you out more than i can

and one bad thing i heard about the side pipes is that it restricts the air flow and you lose hp with them...

Talk to your mechanic/a muffler shop... it can be done (like Rando said you can probably get them bent), but if you're really intent on the side skirts you might want to make sure you can work the exhaust before going out to get it.

+1, but probably wont loose more than a couple hp if any. Too bad the mufflers are so far back and it makes side exhaust have some screwy piping. It sure does look and sound cool though!
