you can do the pi cam and intake swap with out the pi heads my buddy did it this summer and the car is fine if your wondering if it will not give you more power the heads are only worth like 5 hp power but you'll be safe without the heads

What is it with you and silicone jlaw? What do you think o-rings and the like are made of? They wouldn't sell kits that include this if it weren't safe...

It's not halfassing, half-assing would be not using the silicone and throwing it on there with just the gasket.....
I've had my mods done for 4 months, haven't had 1 issue with the silicone leaking or whatever. Besides, all modding had to start somewhere, a part has to be fabbed from scratch before it can be cut from a mold man. |

Nothing wrong with using heater hose insted of the PI tube. Works just fine. I have done 2 of them with heater hose.
Sorry but i gotta agree with jl, it is halfassed. Its stuff fitting on top of other stuff thats not supposed to be there. Its NOT perfect or safe in anyway. But i had run mine that way for a long time and never had a single problem also have done others using this method. If you think about it though. if it were a perfect match i would use silicone and say its perfect. Because there are alot of manufactures that use silicone to seal up, oil and coolant passages. If i knew anyone who did it correctly and then had problems then i would say its not a good idea, but never met anyone yet with problems. Some have when they do it wrong, but oh well.
