Wheel Spacer Studs
Well i bought some 1 inch hub-centric wheel spacers for my rears. Anyway, i planed on tapping out the studs and just having a disk spacer. I bought them to fill the fender out better and to make my 3 inch wheel studs for my slicks to look better. Anyway, i got one out by pounding on it, but the others wont budge. I have let them soak in PB blaster and didn't help. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions.
Thanks!

they are aluminum right? i dont if aluminum expands like steel if you heat it up, if it does throw it in the oven for a while so it heats evenly

Well if I throw it in the oven, wouldnt all the metal expand? Making it even harder to get them out?

If you have access to a press, try that. You can even go to a local machine shop and they might do it for nothing..

the aluminum will expand faster than the steel studs try to heat it with a mat gas torch, or maybe find some one with a press

most aluminums have a lower melting point than steel does, if you use heat, use a propane torch.. if that dont work you can try MAPP(not mat) gas, but by all means no hotter than mapp gas cause you could melt them, preferably beat the hell out of em
