Cooling Fan Problems


my 97 mustang gt cooling fan the one that the radiator works with to cool down well anyways mine dont work. will my car heat up? cause i drove it like that and it doesnt seem like if it does. can any body show me a picture of cooling fan (97 mustang gt) just to see how it looks cause the 1 mine has doesnt seem to fit properly and i dont think its for my stang.

If you are always moving then you have a good chance of not overheating, but if you were to stop at a light for a period of time and it is hot outside then you run the risk of overheating.

a normal car should not get over heated at a stop light lol. thats a problem

The cooling fan also shouldn't work all the time. Only in situations stated above. (Hot outside, usually stopped, no airflow) At a certain temp the cooling fan kicks on. Your cooling fan could be working, you just havn't seen it. N E ways good luck and otherwise DON"T STOP moving LOL.

ive had several supercharged/ power adder cars, and ive never have one over heat even after sitting there idling . my old trans am made 600 hp and would idle for days in 110 degree heat and would work great

Your fan should come on only after the vehicle is warmed up, and it'll likely come on and off. If you turn your A/C on max then the fan(s) should come on regardless of temperature.

thought he was saying his fans werent working, so if he was stopped and they never kick on then you have a problem
