How do you guys like the t45, there's a 96 mystic cobra for sale around here but Im not sure about downgrading to a t45, ive heard it doesnt like power. thanks

I actually like my T-45. The gear ratios are great, I just wish forth was a little further from third so i didnt have to run a 28 inch tire on the nitrous with 4.10s.

They are great trannys just to drive around on. Ive powershifted mine many many times, and I have no problems with it.

the 3650 si only rated at 20 or so more torque than the t45, but that cobra might have the 3650

No all 96-early01 had the T-45

I wouldnt add anything to it power wise, catback just because you have to but thats it, I just want something rare and was considering it.

Its a great buy. I would buy one and leave it be and just drive it. I would keep my hot rod though so I could terrorize them LS1s

yea, its 96 mystic chrome cobra with 21k on her for 11k. Nice head turning car, its just something different than an everyday GT.

The only problem i have had with mine is the reverse gear popping out and sometimes not wanting to go in, other than that, its a great tranny.

i love the t45....with a rebuild i heard it can handle 500hp

what is the easiast tranny to go aftermarket with on a 02 gt??

cause the 3650 is noisy and hates the cold
