5.4 engine swap

Hey does anyone know if it's feasible to swap a 5.4 engine into my 98 mustang?

I was told by many people who know what they are talking about that its not worth it unless your planning on 800+ hp.

I don't think it would be worth it. There are alot of better options out there if you want to replace your engine than putting in that one.

Two most reputable people that have said that would be Acmillr and Jim@CMS.

its a lot heavier, and stock your not making much more power. Once fully built, then of course you could make a ton of power. But you can do that with a forged 4.6 too

A stock stroke 4.6 with a 3.700" bore will be the best way to make great power. However, if you want to build some affordable HP, there are tons of other engine options out there. Just a few: 351W, 355 SBC, 383 SBC, LSX- Those are just a few that will be cheaper and make tons more power.
