Sorry, another gear install kit....

question....couldn't find much using the search function, but I want to make sure I get the right stuff for my gear install. Should I use the 75w140?

I was gonna go royal purple, but I can't tell if it has friction modifier in it....anyone know if it's already added? If not, is there a special kind I should get?

Royal purple DOES already have some friction modifier in it, but i also added some when i had my gears/t-lok installed. The correct gear oil is 75W90.

Oh yeah, and how many quarts of the gear fluid do I need, 3?

get three bottles of it. it takes just a hair under 3 to fill it up. and 75W90

Great, thanks. Do you also think I need additional friction modifier? Just trying to get all the stuff together before I take it in for the install......
