how good are they.. they have the hand held as well?

They rank right up there aginst, say SCT... I think Sniper uses a laptop for the tuning. Its basically a program to run on the laptop and then thru the provided cable, load to the cars ECU. I hear it's really easy to do.

the kits come with an interface flasher to use with your computer and the software ...

Im not an expert on computers but arent there software programs that let you run windows based programs on Macs ? or am I wrong , not sure on this .......just suggesting an alternative if it will work .......or maybe you could borrow a friends computer for a couple hours , it doesnt take long to do once you get the software setup .......

also sniper is badass because you can load more than one vehicle...
