Radiator Cooling Fan Problems
Ok I was reading some material and according to this service manual the fan on a 96 gt is supposed to be a 2 speed fan, well I turned on my gt and the fan only comes on when it heats up to about 3/4 of the gauge above normal level is the a relay on the fuse box or is it builtin to the fan itself can anyone show me how to check this or is there someting else that I need to check. P.S I do have a 160 thermostat is the car right know.

Sorry this you probably already know, but if you are serious about your car alotta people will recommend a tuner for your car and with such a device you can set your rad. fan to come on at specified times. The 96 years also had problems w/their cooling systems, I know mine is a 96 and has a 1997 mustang cobra radiator, etc. in it due to some recall I don't know the specifics of the recall but you might look into it...
sorry if this didn't help out, lol.
