List of Planned Mods...Suggestions?

So I have a fair share of money to put into my car and here's what I'm pretty sure I want to go with as far as performance mods. I was just looking for any tips, advice, or suggestions from some of you veterans out there haha. Thanks in advance.

- PI heads and intake; cams
- BBK CAI
- BBK 75mm throttle body
- BBK shorty headers
- Flowmaster 40's
- BBK o/r h-pipe
- 3.73 gears (and speedcal)
- King Cobra clutch

What do you guys figure the horsepower gains would be from mods like that? I know that usually annoying when people ask, but if anyone does have similar mods just let me know how much gain you have. Thanks again!

ok with the cai go wit the JLT..

with the TB go with acufab..

you will probably be around 280-300 in horsepower gains in the end

Definitely go with the JLT intake and Accufab if you can afford it. Shorty headers won't get you much anything but you might as well do them when you have the heads off. Everything else looks good except a lot of people don't like the King Cobra clutch but I have never used one. I expect you to be around 260 rwhp. Not a bad gain over the npi stuff.

throw those in the trash because they wont gain anything. get some Longtubes, and a JLT, look into some aftermarket cams like a stage 1(comp 262s for example) and if you wanna be smart about things, and take some1s advice, get a spec clutch or ram, king cobra is bottom of the barrel, we had a debate about it at one point, and it sucks donkey penis... enjoy your mods

I was unsure about the clutch too, and was between King Cobra and Spec1 or whatever. Hmm. And I want the VT Stage 1 cams, so got that. And then longtube you say? Alright I'll look into that too. Thanks for the input.

if you're sticking strictly to those kinds of mods then i'd say scrap BBK and get a JLT, Accufab TB & Plenum, some LTs with matching midpipe, catback, 4.10s, and a Spec clutch.

if you're looking to spend some more then get some aftermarket cams for starters, and nitrous or FI...then take it from there.
