Spec Clutch Stage 1


So I am plannin on gettin a spec clutch stage 1, only one question does it come with a throw out bearin ? I beleive it doesnt, if so where can I get one besides centerforce?

I think it does come with a throwout bearing, though it's not a good one. Most people trash the Spec bearing and get a FRPP that won't make noise.

wouldnt the T/B from FRPP be the one that comes with their king cobra clutches which is the T/B that comes stock on stangs which would fuck up again ?????????????

oh lol well i had a KC in my car and it did fine! I only used it for like 1 month and went with a spec stage 2. its up for sale in the classifieds.

It depends on what kind of power you are planning on putting through the car...My engine builder told me that a SPEC Stage 2(or higher) was the only cluth I should run...

yeah so then you could mod all you want then not have to worry about buying another clutch. well mod up to 450rwhp at least with out buying another clutch

Stage 2 will hold around 550 I was told...

My car should be making around 500/500 and the builder said go for the Stage 2...

yeah they hold up to 550 but the stage 3 would be safer to insure theres no sliping. so i was told. lol

Stage 2 holds nicely...A friend of mine runs over 475 daily and his stage 2 works great...Most people dont make it over the 500/500 barrier anyways...
