Underdrive Pulleys

Hey guys, what is the main purpose of underdrive pulleys? How hard are they to install, and can they be installed with a super charger?

They reduce the drag that your accessories create during normal engine operations. They free up about 10 horse give or take a few. I installed a set of underdrives on an 04 GT in 30-45 min. on a hoist. You may have to check the owners manual that came with you blower to see if you can run underdrives or not, but I garuntee you probably won't be able to.

With a sc you'll want to run a larger crank pulley, running a smaller pulley actually underdrives the blower. If I recall correctly the factory balaner is 6.75" on the cars and 7.25" on the trucks.
