Is This Normal???

I have a 96 gt with stock exhaust and it seems that every time I get out of the car and glance at the back end after driving I notice liquid dripping from both exhaust pipes. I'm not sure if this is gas or just condensation. I would really like to know what it is because if its gas, it might just be one more reason why my mileage is so awful (discussed in another post). It usually drips so much that it will actually leave puddles about 2-3 inches around. Anyone else have this problem with their gt or know if this is normal? What do I need to do about it, if anything?

any other suggestions about what else could I install to improve my fuel economy?
