you should be at mid 13s. make sure you get a tune for it and while your there go ahead and get some long tubes too. they are worth it for sure

you shouldnt expect a whole lot of gains with just the heads.

for the money time and agrivation of a pi sway just buy a nice N2O Kits and hit it with a 100 shot twoce the power easy install and you still keep your good gas mileage.

are u trying to say he'd loose gas mileage by doing the PI swap?
all of his current mods actually help improve gas mileage as it is...... not much but when u add them together its 1-2 mpg. If he does the PI swap i couldn't posibly see him hurting his fuel economy..... when i did mine i picked up a MPG |

That's because his car is God's gift to npi mustangs
![]() Anyway, PI swap definitely worth it, gas mileage is the same (if not better), it's not that hard to do, just grow some balls and do it. Before the swap I ran a 15.2 at 91, and I didn't get to run at the track but my friend did in his 5.0. He pulled a 14.4 and I ran him and had a car on him by 80, you can do the math. |

bottom line dude, is your not gunna make the same power as u wuld with simple pi components. with your set up and a piswap, u can hit 12s easily. my car went 14.4 at 97 with an xpipe, k&n, and stock gears(my last car).

4POINT6....
The stock limiter should be set at 6250 anyway. Shutting off the rear O2s do nothing other than CEL, and turning off the EGR also does nothing but ruin gas mileage. And your times are not impressive at all....

lol, owned by Matt.
not tryin to thread-jack but Matt! i just read on sn95forums that you blew the motor? that sucks dude. great slips though. what all was your set-up? it kinda scared me cause i'm gonna be running P&P'd PI heads, VT Stage II N/As, PI intake, 4.10s (after a little while), and full exhaust (check other thread i made) and i know you ran something similar. |
