exhaust rattle


its rattling against the tranny heat shield 3" cat back magnaflow doesnt do it all the time but fro about two seconds after i shift any suggestiongs on fixin it because when i have to out run my friends civic and it goes VROOM CLANK CLUNB CLUNKADY CLANK its pissin me off

is there another way because i dont have the tools to bend that and keep it the right diamiter if its just sitting it doesnt touch there is about 1/8 inch between the shield and pipe no way i can just lower the pipe or anything or is bendin it the only way

ide rather not beat the living shit outa my new exaust lol what could i put in between it i was think about just welding in a few pieces of steel to keep it from smacking...would that work

hmm, i don't think steel in there would eliminate the rattling, and whatever it is, it needs to be able to withstand the heat

what about this kinda firm heat shielding plastic stuff i got here at work...we use it on the LM2500 jet engines ans its good fro up to like 500 degrees F
