problem when cold

so when my car is cold, (keep in mind i have a huge leak in my radiator) if i take my foot off the gas it feels like i threw out an anchor, and it starts slowing the car down, i always have to keep my foot on the gas. when its warmed if you take your foot off the gas, it just coasts, but doesn't slow down a lot.

IAC? When im shifting instead of the RPM's slowly coming down, they drop dramatically to about 1000 rpm

you dont have any brakes dragging on the rotors do ya?
