PI Swap update
(Installed 04 Pi heads + shorties) Well i finished the car up this weekend, but theres a small problem. There is coolant leaking from somewhere on the back left hand corner of the motor. I'm not exactly sure where its coming from. At first i thought it was the head gasket but there is small amounts of coolant by the intake and near my plug boot. So i'm thinking re-using the intake gaskets was just a bad idea(they were only 5months old). Anyway as soon as i get this figured out I'll be hitting the track. I can't tell a start up difference or sound difference because the cars exhaust is still not fully connected. Headers+x pipe start up at 1230am, neighbors loved that. The swap was kind of fun actually. I like learning more and I had never seen the pistons besides in magazines and shit so that was kind of cool. If anyone needs help or questions shoot me a pm. Anyone with ideas about looking for this coolant leak let me know.

Im thinking that it is the heater tube in the valey, under the intake manifold. If you just used some heater hose then it will probably leak. Your best bet is to buy the PI coolant tube and PI Coolant nipple

Found the leak, its a bad intake manifold gasket. Goign to swap it out and finish the exhaust and see how it runs. Track numbers soon.
