5.4 32v swap
anyone on here know of anyone whose done the swap?
if i can find a wrecked navi im gonna grab the motor. a guy in our local mustang club is doing the "Super Snake" package to his 07 GT500 and said hed sell me his stock supercharger,injectors,pumps everything for a grand. its only got 4000kms so there in perfect condition. how tight would it be in there? like virgin tight or slightly used? ive seen what a terminator motor looks like in there and its virgin tight. looks like a bitch to work on. any helps appreciated! thanks mike

from what ive read, 5.4 are virgin tight, like you cant take the valve covers off with the motor in and those are on the 2v valve covers, 4v are alot bigger and you will need a taller hood

yea im definatly gonna run a cowl hood.i guess well just have to hope for no cutting of the engine bay,im still looking for a motor though. this will save me big money as opposed to building my 2v and blowing it,plus be alot nastier

i think 50andsuperfords is doing a Fox gt500 build up right now. Including the brakes. which i doubt any of us here should do after reading what they had to do.

i can get the brakes too lol.
i can get everything from a gt500 thats being swapped out for the supersnake package. rims,brakes,supercharger+fittings,shifter,hood lol. i just want the charger from it. once i find the 5.4 ill cam it and strap it to it,and giver. do you have a link to that write up? id love to read it and see how they got the motor in. a fox is a bit different from these. i know its gonna be tight, but who dosent like it tight eh? so any write ups?
