I will just note that the complete removal of the swril damn it a big NO NO. Not knocking anyones work, I am not a god. The intake runners on your heads appear to be way to smooth, smoothing of the intake runner actually will cause turbulance in the runner. A rough surface actually creates a cushion for the passing fuel air to better atomize and increase velocity to push through the shortside radius.

Recently i found a minor angle cut on the swirl damn will increase the overall cfm numbers. I have been able to mirror most companies heads with larger valves by using stock sizes. I found on several heads I have tested that most porters are removing way to much material in the port cross sectional areas.

You are going to have to try them out, they may be a little lazy on the low end but should pick up in the mid to upper prm's. The work appears to be average, not saying bad as I can't see pictures of the runners.

Good luck and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

make sure you have permission from AC to do so. He has put work into them and may not want it shared. Just like he was watching out for boomer....

I disagree with the swirl dam removal due to other reasons than flow, but we all have our ways of pleasing our customers. I'm not sure why the runners look so smooth in the pics, but they have the mildly rough surface that allows for sufficient flow. These heads were ported to achieve a very flat mid to upper rpm HP curve, and I'm sure they will provide that. Anyway, those chambers on Matt's heads look excellent. I'm not really sure what you have going with the angles on the swirl dam, but it looks like you have some serious time and work into them.

its too bad on the built engine I am going more agressive and going to try and sell these heads as long as nothing was damaged from
no oil pressure for a few minutes.

95% of all the porters now barely touch the dams, it kills low level lift numbers like a bitch. Unless you plan to squeeze a .700 " lift cam in there it is not worth the loss. Think about the duration the cam spends at max lift compared to low to mid, point made.

Again as Ac said everyone has their own way to do things, I am just providing a different view.
