Matte/Flat Black Racing Stripes

I’m working on this paint job on my '96 and now I'm wondering about having some racing stripes painted (not vinyls/”stickers”). The 'Stang was the darker red Ford offers (not "Laser Red" or w/e that’s called) and I’m re-painting the car myself with a near identical paint color (mine was faded, scratched from previous owner, minor chips, blemishes, etc). I want the traditional/classic dual stripes down the middle style. The car is the deep-er red, with a black top, black interior, black wheels, black roll bar/cage, and 25% black window tints. The strips should look (damn) good I think, but I don’t know where to have them done and I definitely don’t feel they are at my skill level paint-wise. My question to all of you is

1)Where I should go to have the strips painted?
2)Should they be painted at some point while I’m working on the body paint job?
3)I want a flat/matte black (I think), which do you all recommend?
4)Personal opinions or comments?

Thanks guys.

hey bro I have a vert also. Will be getting a new custom pant job when i get back from the desert. IMO racing stripes dont look that good on verts. there is to much space where the stripe is broken. Id go with either just a nice solid color with some accents or a two tone maybe. Once again its just my opinion.

Two tone on a convertible looks really nice assuming you're not color blind and pick some real nice colors and maybe a smooth pinstripe seperating the colors. Look in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords or any Mustang magazine, you'll run into some pictures of SN95 with two tones that look great.
