Conversion Help (Cobra Heads On GT)


i got a friend that said i can have heads off his 98 cobra. i also have a 98 gt and was wonderin what all i would need to convert. links would help too

unless you are getting the whole 4 valve motor IMO its not very cost effective. just get some pi heads and cams and intake it will cost less and you will get some good power gains

but free heads i cnt convert? i mean whats the cost lookin?

anythings possible if you got the money....not sure exactly whats involved but you can get some pi heads and cams off ebay real cheap in the end i still think it would be a lot cheaper even if you got the heads off teh cobra for free

its possible and is doable, but much more cost effective to just buy the whole engine. some of the timing components are different in the 4v motor so youll have to have your block drilled and tapped for some extra holes. also gonna need the wiriing harness and some other things such as intake, and all the crap to top the heads off
