Need Some Help (Modding)


i have Mustang 1996 4.6

Bbk short headers

Bbk full air system with throttle 75mm

Ford 4.6/5.4 SOHC Xtreme Energy XE274H Cams from comp cams part number 102300 and comp cams valve springs

Ring and pinion gear 3.73

Stock heads only ported

Stock injection

MSD coils and spark plugs wires

Flowmaster catback

Stock pistons

Bbk short headers

Bbk full coldair with throttle 75mm


Stock computer number F6ZF-12A650-PC


and the car runs like the normal stock mustang I don’t know what I have to do some of my friends said I have to upgrade my computer and I don’t know how to do that cuz we don’t have any professional companies in middle east, I m from UAE Dubai.

IMO sounds like you need a good tuner, especially since you've got new gears. Something like the XCal II oughta do it. I don't know about getting it shipped to you, but if it's possible, and not too much money, I'd definitely do that. Just go to SCT's website n give'em all your mods and they'll make a custom tune just for your car. Worked like a charm on my 96 DOHC.

Thanks dear friend I sent all my mods to them and now I m waiting there replay all I’ll let you know what they say to me just when they replay

why not instead of doing all these mods put a 99 and above motor in your car lol. there so much better. for info contact me if u would like

the cams are the biggest deal you have to have a tune after head porting and bigger cams, and gears will help the speedo only. you just need a good solid tune from tuner on the dyno
