anybody know any thing on 03 04 cobra motor swap in an 97

97, 2004 pi motor
long tubes, off road h pipe,
acufab upper intake with 75mm throtle body
bbk cold air kit, dyno tuned 269hp 301tq

you need the whole complete engine, wiring harnesses, tranny, and harness for that and all of the supporting stuff aournd that

You would be much better off just doing a 4V with a KB swap...Prolly cheaper as well...

Or just build the 2v and slap a KB on it...

Either way it would be cheaper and better...

thought about building the 2v iv got but just can't beat the numbers of the 4vs and the 03 04 bottom end holds alot horse factory

There's a guy here in town who did the terminator swap into his 2000 GT vert. Very sweet setup and a real sleeper.

you could always get a 4v from a 97 cobra and put a blower on it! that way all your changin is computer harness, and some other stuff! and your tranny will bolt up to it as well!

my trans is about shot already from just the pi swap,t-45 suck, thinking of going with a tko 500 or 600

yeah, i'm not sure what tranny i have, but it rocks! i love it, but IMO i think just snatch up a 97 4.6 4v cobra engine, and a new tranny!!!

what do ya'll think about a completely built 2v with 2 stages of nitrous
and also how much more hp do you think you would get from 5.0 stroke vs 4.6 stroke regardless going to all be forged

my motor can handel up to like 900rwhp but you have to get forged everything. lol Shaun Hamption has a 97 cobra engine that putting out 1400hp...

well ya you have to build it first though. he said snatch up a 97 cobra motor and throw it in there, and that motor isnt gonna ahndle a whole lot more than 400 rwho for too long. but yeah itll handle it if you forge everything
