Sleeper GT Options


I just bought a '96 GT, and i want to mod it out over the winter, what can i do that is relatively cheap but boost the HP. Its pretty just stock right now, there is a K&N intake but thats it.

gears..wont boost the horsepower but sure feels like it does. will make your car a lot more fun to drive

You can do headers, but they are a pain to put in. depending where you live id put in a off road x pipe and some new mufflers first they are cheaper, easier, you can get some HP out of them and it will sound nasty. also if it hasnt had it yet do the PI intake and cams. you can get them pretty cheap on ebay as they are usualy used stock parts off newer stangs.

you could always get some pulleys too, but like sonicblue said gears will help alot, thats my next move after i get my steeda pulleys on

Giggle Gas + Good Tune + Gears = Happy @ss MOFO...

It would be quite the quick little sleeper...

well not just the bottle, but all of the stuff that comes along with it!!!! lol. sorry for being sarcastic, yeah put a nitrous setup on it and there are ways to hide all of the wiring and stuff and no one will ever know

ya if you want a sleeper car then nitrous is probably the fastest and the cheapest big HP adder you can buy, when you want it its there and when you dont its the same car... for Example, I met a kid at the track with white Denali pickup runing high 12s I asked him what he had done he said nutin realy just juiced the shit out of it and im crossing my fingers haha

just do full exhaust and intake then gears.. you will not be fast unless you go big so why waste a lot of money??
