1998 Side scoops

I resently purchased a set of rounded side scoops for my 1998 GT and does anyone know the best way to attach the scoops to the existing scoops so they stay on? Should I used so relly good 3M double sided tape or what?

There is no way on hell I would ever tape something that creates drag like side scoops.. My friends have lost to much shit that way.... I lost a set of lens covers like that once now everything gets glued...

What type of glue would you recommend to attach them?

I've had a set on mine for over 10 years and have had 0 problems. Go to a body & paint supply place and get the double sided tape they have. Just tell them what you're doing and they'll set you up. Don't forget to clean the surface your attaching them to first...

No problem, bro.

You might position them and mark the location with some painter's tape or something to help locate them before you put them on. That tape is pretty strong.

Let us know how it goes & post up some pics when you get them on

Hey post up some pics when your all done. I'm curious to see the look. Personally I really dislike the side/C-scoops, but only because they aren't functional. Now if you cut a passage way for them to cool your brakes....that would be awesome ;-) haha. And I'm not trying to insult your work here or anything, all I was stating is I wish the scoops actually did something. Good luck with the project.
