I used to have normal cut outs. They take about 2 inches of clearance off of the car. I used to hit on everything, and my car wasn't even lowered. I would stay away from them. The electric ones have even less clearance and they can break, and with how often you will be hitting them on Shizz, I wouldn't bother wasting the money.

i was taught that mustangs needed a full exhaust flow to perform best, unlinke f-bodies where they can benefit a little from a cut out. I'm not 100% on this but it might have something to do with f-bodies having 1 muffler and mustangs having 2? I'm a noob so this might need some corrections

wrong. but on the right track... the f-body cars have much mroe displacement then the mustangs and therfore benefit from have cutouts on the midpipe and on some occasions even running open headers...the mustangs need that little bit of back pressure in the exhaust to take full advantage of the smaller cubes rep welcomed
