X-pipe

I picked out my xpipe this is it: eBay Motors: 96,97,98 Mustang GT PYPES 2.5" X-Pipe w/ High Flow Cats (item 260248064029 end time Jun-11-08 16:45:30 PDT)

now for the exhaust people, is this relativly easy to put on? it looks to me like it should be a simple bolt on install and on the plus side keep it legal and get rid of all those other cats on the car.

by the way i recently ran another 1/8 mile run and stock except with a gear change i got a 9.63. how does this sound? how would i tell the gear ratio? at 60MPH in OD i run about 2300rpms if that helps...

I bought this myself a couple of months ago. You need to buy a gasket from ford to replace when you do this located at the exhaust manifold. This is a must!

The place that replaced mine had a hard time and the clamps they sent were useless. So the place that done mine welded the cats on to the exhaust where the clamps were needed. I will say not a bad idea anyways, that way there is one last place for an exhaust leak due to a bad clamp.

The sound is much louder in the car due to x-pipe. However whoever is behind you will love the sound! It has been a great mod that I like!
