Is the check engine light on when the car is running. I would take it to Autozone and see if it has any codes.

how many miles are on yours? If it was me I would just get a clutch kit and replace everything because you have to pull the tranny anyways to get to the pilot bearing.

yes, they do sell them alone..they are cheap... but IMO...replace everything with a nicer clutch (spec,Ford racing) and get an aluminum flywheel while your at it..or at least resurface the stock flywheel...

Resurfacing the flywheel is a good idea while your at it also. I had mine resurfaced for $150

i had mine done for free... but if your spending money and getting it resurfaced i'd just get a nice aluminum flywheel from fidanza or spec...

Yea, might as well get a new clutch, my TO was bad, but replaced everything, and got the flywheel resurfaced and it cost a total of about 300 bucks.

BUY THE LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL NOW!!! you'll regret it if you don't. It's alot more of a bitch to change later and if you buy a good clutch setup it's gonna be a long time before you're in need of a new one. I guarantee you'll love the throttle response. It's definately worth the extra money!!!!
