Well i want to put a upr catted x pipe and weld in lm1s, i heard it on 99-04 gt but will it sound pretty much the same on my 97 gt. A couple people said it sounds ricey but i think it sounds awesome what do u guys think.

I think that SLPs are called Shitty Loud Pipes for a reason... but... should sound the same as the newer cars.

I dont know that ANY V8 can sound ricey.. I've never had anything SLP, but some longtube Hooker Headers are orgasmic...
But in the end, it's all about what you like. If its good to your ears, go for it!!
