A trick flow intake manifold is better than a regular old PI Intake, but it really depends on the price difference you are willing to pay. I think new the trickflow is a hundred or so more than a new PI intake...

and im not sure about your chip question, never heard of them.

the trickflow intake is 7 or 800 bucks at summit... i dont think its worth it...its been proven countless of times that the plain old PI intake is plenty sufficient...

well. i had a high horsepower motor... did not run out of air...

also i will be building another high compression motor this winter hoping for 350 N/A at least... and i will be using a stock PI intake...

Trick flow would be great, but too expensive for the gains... eventually i may go logan or sullivan on my car, but stocker til i can spend 2 K on an intake...

well if you decide to go p.i. you will spend over $500 bucks for a complete p.i. conversion kit like the ones they sell at Detroit Speedworks. it comes with everything also the adapter plates to mount the p.i. intake onto non p.i. heads. so you decide which would be a better deal? yes you could get a stock p.i. intake and use silicone to make it mount on non p.i. heads but that is a leak waiting to happen if you ask me. hypertech is CRAP. do not waste your money. take it from someone who knows.

also figure out now which direction you are gonna go with your car then plan your modifications accordingly so you don't waste money down the road. take it from me, i've wasted more money than i care to have on parts. i would buys parts then a month later something newer and better would be on sale.

a bullitt intake is a hell of alot better than any aftermarket intake you're gonna find. keep your eyes open and you can find one on ebay occasionaly. there was one 2 weeks ago that came with the upper and lower intakes and the neccesary alternator bracket that sold for 500 bucks. that's a hell of a deal because they normaly go for around a grand. they are no longer available from ford, btw.

take pimpdout's advice and decide what exactly you want to do before you start buying parts dude. you will save alot if you have it all planned out.

your an idiot for this statement

the silicone works fine, i did the full pi intake swap for 100 bucks and i guarantee it will run the life of the motor
