O/R exhaust?

and you really should invest in a wide band instead of the narrow band you have.

I'm asking if you have Off Road Exhaust.

exhaust doesn't get rich. an engine's a/f mixture is what gets rich/lean.
to be honest with you the narrow band sensor you have is a pos and nothing but a fancy light show. as far as your running rich issue run a can of seafoam through it and see if that clears it up.

ok. just so you know man.. wide band > narrow band.

a narrow band can't read properly when you go wide open throttle so if you plan on modding your car more please invest in one for your own good.

no not the coolant light i have a haynes book and got the info out of that for the signal wire so i looked at the connector and on the driver side the red wire was supposedly the signal wire so i tapped into that.....as i was just looking at the directions it said there shouldnt be anything lit with the key in run position and motor off well the rich light is on with k/on engine off

no. it means your cars not started so the gauge isn't reading anything.
