My New Plan

Now that I'm not selling my car anymore, here are my plans for this winter!

Now that I've decided to keep the car, I've put together some great plans for it. To sum it up, I do plan on doing a Full PI Swap w/ Stage 2 Comp Cams X-Treme Energy Camshafts. The cams will be backed up by Comp Cams Valve Springs. The exhaust will exit out of MAC Long Tube Headers which will be welded to my existing H-Pipe. To help transfer the power to the rear tires will be a FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft and to help keep the tires on the ground will be a set of GMS Upper/Lower Control Arms. Also remember, I'm fully bolt-on'd w/ gears too. I know a guy with a similar set up and he put down a solid 300 RWHP & 307 RWTQ on the dyno w/ a custom tune and ran a 12.9 @ 109 MPH @ Ubly Dragway. I'm not saying mine will do that but that would be nice!

the only problem ic is with the mac headers, and weldng them to the h-pipe. youll regret that decision terribly if you have to replace your clutch

Well my clutch is good so I don't have to worry abou that, but on the other hand I've done some thinking and I found a set of long tubes w/ a matching x-pipe for around $375 so I think I'm going to do that. I don't really want to cut and weld, I was just being a cheap ass, lol.

it only takes one little things and your clutch could say bye bye and that would be a terrible pita. he does have a great looking stang. what kind of headers and x pipe. i would also suggest going with the ceramic coatin on the headers. makes a huge difference and def worth it

Don't worry guys I'm not welding the pipes no more! Basically all my plans are written in stone except for the headers and pipe. I found long tubes and a matching x-pipe from Pacesetter that will only set me back like $375 for everything. But Pacesetter isn't like the best so IDK what I'm going to do. I was looking into a pair of MAC's for $341 shipped and then I'd probably find a matching H or Prochamber pipe for what, like $175 or somthing like that? I'm probably going to order the heads, manifold, install kit, cams and valve springs coming up within the next week or so and then when I see how much money I have left I'll determine which exhaust set up I'm going to do...

Check around on mustang sites and see if you can find a set of used headers for cheap...

Shop around and you can find good parts for a good price...

Thanks for the compliment! I appreciate it. You know the hard work pays off when people say stuff like that. Again, thanks!
