03 04 Cobra Motor
hey i was wandering can a 4.6 stock supercharged 03 04 cobra motor bolt straight into the 96 through 98 mustang gts? i mean with computer and thats all you would really need right?

if im not mistaking dude u would need a lil more than the computer. if anything find a local shop that works on mustangs and they should be able to give u some info on it.

The hood wont clear from what I have heard...
you will need the cobra maf, cobra injector harness, 4V headers, a chip burned for your computer that has a 03/04 cobra tune on it... You will also need to do something to your fuel system so that it can handle the added power... There may be some things I forgot though... Also I dont know how well the t-45 is going to hold up to the power of the Cobra Motor... |

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords just did an article on a guy who put the whole 03 Cobra Powertrain/Suspension/Interior into his fox body. For the engine he said he had to get all the wiring harnesses from the Cobra, as well as the computer and tranny. He had to modify the engine compartement a little bit too I beleive, but for starters to put the engine in you WILL need all the wiring harnesses, computer and possibly the T-56. Contact a local speed shop to see what else will be required.

i do know that you have to have the ecm but im saying would that be it besides fuel management and anything else..oh when i say will the motor fit i mean will the whole motor its self completely fit with supercharger and all out of a 03 04 cobra..i wouldnt be using my engine or anything..

Yes it will fit but in the engine bay...
I dont think your factory hood will clear the blower though... |
