The Original 40 Series Flows never fail, but before I switched mufflers I ran Delta Flows and they were DEEP! I also have an H-Pipe on mine. So if you want deep rumble stay away from the X and go with the H or Prochamber! G/L

Alot of people have the Flowmaster 40's. I think they are pretty deep, but if you don't want your car to be like the rest go with something else. I suggest maybe a Borla cat-back system. I've heard them and they are extremely deep. A cat-back system will give you more horsepower if the pipes in the kit are bigger. If you want a deep rumble, 9gt6 is right and stay away from the X-pipe. Get an o/r h-pipe. With headers, if money's not a problem get a nice pair of Hooker super competition headers. They'll help with the deep rumble and give you some good horsepower by freeing up the exhaust coming out of the motor. I have a Magnaflow Magnapack cat-back system. It's really loud with the Magnapack kit, but maybe you should look into the original Magnaflow cat-back system.

i agree with 1998_svt_cobra so many people have the flowmaster that whne i actually get my exhause done i wont get flowmaster, yes they do sound good but in my opinion ur car is your own and you should make it just that. i personally like the SLP loudmouth 2

What you need to do is look for some sound clips of exhaust on the internet. That's what I did. It's not very good quality sound on the internet but it will help you choose which one you like best.
