cam question

i was inspecting my cams today and the tips of the lobes look alright but right at the flat spot between the big lobe and tip that opens the valves if u run a finger over the flat spot u can feel a slight dimple? all of them are like that is this a problem u guys think? or is that the way they were designed thanks!

Just subcribing. I know a alot about OHV, OHC I still need to learn.

But depends on how bad the dimple is. I have take out my NPI cams out at 124K and it turns out that they really didnt have anything you could feel, but you could definatly see the difference.
