it all depends on what is done to your car and what you want out of it. if your n/a or low boost go with 4:10s if your high boost go with 3:73s

in my opinion low boost or high boost means little...its the type of boost maker you have that makes a difference to me...Ive had 373's with a blower..didnt like em....put 410's on it...loved em....same 410's on a turbo set up...hate em...i want my 373's back.....

dude, i have 4.10's in my car and i've been putting about 300 highway miles on the car a week for the past month.......

i still manage to get 20mpg but the only thing that gets me is doing 70 mph at 2750rpms....

if i could do it all over again i'd go 3.90..... but then again i'm just gonna get a 6spd and that should fix that issue

i do love my gears though

I have 4.30s, 22MPG avg on interstate runs at 75MPH 2650 RPM. I don't drive the car daily* if I did I would probably go to 4.10's trying for another 1 or 2 MPG but doubt it would make that much differenc. My car had 3.73's when I bought it, hated them on a NA car.

it's not the sound the gets me, it's just the overall waste of gas...... and i'm not even really complaining, just pointing it out.

i can pas people in 5th gear on the highway, thats how much power is in her when cruising. I'd just rather have another gear to spin through, Know what i mean?

I've been wondering about gears too, its such a cheap and affective upgrade. 3.73 seem the most common way to go, 4.10's seem too racey, but maybe I'm wrong. Does AT vs MT make any major difference to you guys who have already done gears?

manuel gets annoying with lower ratios(4.10 or 4.3) b/c you have to shift so often

i just got done putting 4.10's in my 96 gt (auto) and i love them.my car is all stock except a k&n filter.they made a huge difference in performance.and being that i have overdrive it doesnt effect to much gas mileage or highway driving at all.

but if i had a 5spd car i would have gone with the 3.73
