It will drop right in and hook right up when im done with the pi intake setup.
Still using the same wireing and computer to run it,with a Sniper Programer to make some nessacery changes, the only diffrence is that the 5.4 has diffrent headers. so im probably going to get a summit brand h pipe for 100 bucks to fix that problem. But for the most part there is not any Fab Work Needed.

No need to worry with trying to find 5.4l headers. The stock manifolds from any 4.6l 2v will work. Or the FRPP shorty headers work great.

r3neck posted a website, check it out. There is a 150 page forum on the 5.4l swap. Log on and present yourself, would love to see you there.

Good luck on the swap. I'd consider it but I want a forged 4v to go with my V2. I want to hit the 500 mark with nothing else.

Lightnings hit that and go WAY past with 2v. Something the 4.6l could never have is the crazy torque the 5.4l has.

The 5.4l drops right in, bolts up, and you almost don't need a tune(but should because of all the new cubes the computer don't know about)

4v is still badass though!

Depending if i have the money i might get the nice stainless shorty headers for it but if not im goign to use the 4.6 headers it would be easier for me to do it that way anyway.

I want to start reading up on this 5.4 setup.. If my stock 4v shortblock ever takes a dump.. it would be fun to place my 4v heads on a 5.4 block.
